Help organisations protect people, places, information and systems from security threats

Working in protective security, you’ll help organisations understand and manage risks that could affect their people, buildings, information, technology and day-to-day operations. Protective security advisers can work across government, defence, policing, security, transport, critical national infrastructure, large businesses and organisations that need to protect sensitive assets. During the protective security adviser apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to assess risks and provide advice across areas such as physical security, personnel security, technical security and cyber security.
