Ensure organisations fulfil the contractual requirements of the customers
Working in a range of industries including automotive, defence, food, pharmaceutical, nuclear, retail, financial services, logistics, the public sector and government, you’ll ensure your company fulfils the requirements of the customers and other stakeholders. During the quality practitioner apprenticeship you’ll deploy effective quality practices that include four main elements: quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and continuous improvement. A typical day will include internal meetings to review quality performance, such as analysing performance data, carrying out audits or inspections, and making stakeholder visits. You’ll be accountable for all aspects of quality in your particular area, such as production or procured goods, engaging with other managers to meet performance targets. Job titles can include project quality engineer, quality officer and supplier quality engineer.

Entry requirements for the quality practitioner apprenticeship: Depend on employer, but likely A-levels or equivalent qualifications or experience.
Achievement upon completion: Level 4 (Higher)—equivalent to a foundation degree
Potential salary upon completion: £30,000 per annum
