James is a 24-year-old business apprentice at the Ministry of Defence – Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S)
The DE&S business administrator apprenticeship supports individuals with a blend of face-to-face, virtual tuition and e-learning to support the attainment of an NVQ level 3 in business administration.
James said: “I joined DE&S as an apprentice after I was given some careers advice at my workplace. I relished the opportunity to work in such an inspiring place at a young age without university experience. As one would expect, there are high demands with both the job and the learning, but being able to balance these demonstrates immense capability and the support from colleagues around you will ensure that you will be able to flourish.”
