Textile technical specialist apprenticeship

Ensure that the technical capabilities of the textile plant, product and machinery are appropriately fine-tuned

The textile technical specialist apprenticeship is a technical one within textile and fashion advanced manufacturing companies. It’s a production and manufacturing role that involves the production of textiles for woven or finished fabrics. In this role, you’ll ensure that the technical capabilities of the plant, the product and the machinery are appropriately and innovatively fine-tuned to meet customer expectations. This involves the use of specialist textile machinery and equipment, either to weave or to finish textiles, which service the world’s textile supply chain. This apprenticeship offers options in either the weaving or the finishing department. In either specialisation, you’ll work in a sophisticated production environment using computer systems to plan and programme production machinery, interchanging between manufacturing facilities and laboratories.
