Learning and development consultant/business partner

Recommending what a business can or should do in training and education
A specialist role combining business influence with learning and development, the consultant or business partner usually sits alongside HR, influencing key stakeholders, making decisions and recommendations on what the business can or should do in training and education, but aligned with the strategic commercial ambitions and objectives of the business. As an apprentice, you’ll likely develop expertise in a specific field, whether it be technical, vocational or behavioural. Your role can be generalist or specialist, so your focus and in-depth expertise could develop in a specific area, such as organisation development, digital/blended learning, resourcing, or talent management. Whichever area of focus you choose, this apprenticeship will give and develop in you a good grounding across all areas of learning and development.
