Campbell West, a leading HVAC specialist in Berkshire, has invested £10,000 in two members of their team.
The company owners, Steven Campbell and Daniel West, both left school to become apprentice plumbers. Now employees Frank Smith and Tommy Gill, having successfully completed a rigorous 15-day course, are certified F-Gas engineers.
The duo also excelled in a new starter refrigeration course at Ellis Training in Hertfordshire, expanding their skill set.
Daniel West, director at Campbell West, said: “Steven and I are both products of the apprenticeship system which we still see as key to maintaining the company’s growth.
“We’re delighted Frank and Tommy did Campbell West proud by passing this challenge with flying colours and we know they will enhance our air-conditioning service.”
The recently certified engineers, Smith and Gill, will apply their newfound skills to smaller air conditioning installations in Campbell West’s order book. Founded in 2017, the company specialises in designing, installing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems. Campbell West’s clientele includes NHS Trusts, local government, education settings, and a diverse range of projects in both commercial and residential sectors.
Frank Smith said, “It’s great to know we work with a company that goes above and beyond to invest in its staff so we’re equipped with the technical expertise that will help us long-term.”
Campbell West also recently achieved ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications.
