National Apprenticeship Week 2026: Your Chance to Start a Future in Tech
National Apprenticeship Week 2026 is here once again, running from 9th to 15th February, and if you’re looking for a fresh start, exploring your next step, or currently unemployed and unsure what direction to take, this week could be a turning point.
NAW is all about showcasing how apprenticeships can open doors, build confidence, and provide real pathways into meaningful careers. With the tech and digital sector growing faster than ever, now is one of the best times to explore what a future in tech could look like for you.
Whether you’re just beginning your working life or restarting after time away from employment, NAW gives you the opportunity to explore new career routes without pressure. It’s a chance to learn, connect, and discover whether a tech apprenticeship could be your pathway to stability, progression, and long-term success.
QA offers apprenticeships in AI, data, IT, cyber security, software development, digital marketing and more. These programmes offer real experience, a salary, fully funded training, and structured support, making them accessible even if you have no background in tech.
Apprenticeships aren’t just learning programmes, they’re a chance to build real skills in real workplaces while earning and progressing.
Here’s what learners typically achieve:
- 90% of QA apprentices move into permanent roles
- 70% feel more confident and prepared for work
- 60,000+ careers launched or transformed
“I have always had an interest in computer science and becoming a software developer, so this programme has given me a fantastic opportunity to get real-world experience and regular training in this field. For me to be working in an office, alongside senior software developers, absorbing knowledge on a daily basis has been crucial for my own development” – Oliver Cooney-Allen, Software Development Apprentice, Deutsche Bank
To celebrate NAW 2026, QA is running free online workshops designed to help you build your skills, understand the tech industry, and feel prepared to take the next step. No experience needed.
