Research, analyse, model, assess and manage cyber security risks
A cyber security technical professional apprenticeship operates across a range of sectors, including critical national infrastructure such as energy, transport, water and financial services. In this role, you’ll normally operate with a considerable degree of autonomy and will lead teams that research, analyse, model, assess and manage cyber security risks. You’ll also design, develop, justify, manage and operate secure solutions, and detect and respond to incidents. Typical job titles for this apprenticeship could include cyber risk manager, cyber risk analyst, cyber research analyst, cyber incident manager, cyber security engineer and cyber security design engineer. On completion, you’ll achieve a bachelor’s degree in cyber security.

Entry requirements for the cyber security technical professional apprenticeship: Three A-levels, including maths, or other relevant qualifications or experience
Achievement upon completion: Level 6 (Degree)—equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
Potential salary upon completion: £37,000 per annum
